Meals on Wheels
Provision of hot, freshly cooked meals three days a week.
Who gets meals on wheels? Anyone nominated by the District Nurse without discrimination.
What do they get? Hot meals, freshly cooked, using only the best ingredients.
Where are they prepared? They are prepared in the kitchen of the Community Centre.
When are they prepared and delivered? Three days per week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Extra meals are prepared for Tuesday and Thursday if required.
How can you help? We require additional volunteers to cook or drivers to deliver meals. If you can spare a few hours, one day per week, every second month, you will be more than welcome.
