Youth Development

Objective

To establish a forum which will encourage the youth of the parish to actively participate in the life of the parish

Projects

To start the process of setting up Parish Youth Groups by inviting the young people of the parish to a series of open evenings
To enrol the assistance of the catechetic teachers / chaplains in local schools and the Catholic Youth Care services in developing initiatives
To introduce a Taize Mass, specifically for youth, on a trial basis
To explore the possibility of forming a Youth Choir, and arrange for the visitation of a Gospel Choir to stimulate interest
